“Whoa….Is that a penguin?” That is what my husband George asked our guest on board Java Cat on Saturday, December 9th, 2012. He changed course and headed towards these 2 birds. They were chasing pilchers along the flats. What caught his attention was the way they moved through the water. They look like they were flying underwater. more info

International Coastal Cleanup: A Day on the Water to Make a World of Difference. Reef Relief will be celebrating the 27th year of the International Coastal Cleanup with a community kayak shoreline cleanup on Saturday, September 15th of Geiger Key. We offer private sunset sails nightly. If you want to avoid the crowds and have a personalized experience Java Cat is the perfect answer! $295.00 includes light hors d’oeuvres, beverages, music of your choice or just the wind in the sails for an intimate experience. For Locals Only~Monthly Paddle Club
Pay $50 a month for unlimited access to a paddle board or kayak. No sign up fee, no time obligation. All you need to do is call our Geiger Key Kayak & Paddle Board Hut ahead of time to insure availability for you. 305-296-4126 is the direct line to the Chickee Hut at Geiger Key Marina.
KAYAK & PADDLE BOARD RENTALS
We offer a variety of options for you to explore the diverse eco-systems in the Lower Keys. Join us onboard Java Cat for a half day sail, kayak, and snorkel trip or head Up To Geiger Key where The Locals refer to it as “The Backside of Paradise”.We offer paddle board and kayak rentals by the Hour, Day, or Week. Enjoy the day on the water with us and then take a break in the shade at the Geiger Key Marina Fish Camp.
